The HATT fixture, designed 2013, originated from a desire to use light to create a sense of spatial definition in a hotel foyer. When hung over seating areas, this shade suggests a roof-like structure and immediately creates a more intimate atmosphere. In addition, the white stretch fabric that gives the shade its characteristic shape has beneficial accoustic properties.
