sandellsandberg are behind the interior design of The Flying Elk; a restaurant featuring two bars; Gaston and Corner Club, in the heart of Gamla Stan in Stockholm. The intention is to create a classic pub environment by blending existing elements such as cobblestones and stone walls with modern materials. The atmosphere is rough, yet intimate and comfortable. It is composed of panels of burnt oak, copper with verdigris finish and specially designed chesterfield furniture.
