Vågö was designed for the IKEA PS collection in 2000. The chairs are stackable to reduce space when not used and in order to enable cheap and efficient transportation. The footstool is shaped so it could be stored under the chair. In the middle of the chair is a hole for drainage so it could be used both indoors and outdoors. Vågö received the red dot design award in 2002.
