The Ygne summerhouse is situated on the island of Gotland, one of Sweden’s most popular summer holiday spots. The design ambition was to build a house that would recess into the natural environment. Floor to ceiling windows wrap the house from the entry facade to the inner courtyard, allowing the heavily wooded exterior to become a part of the interior landscape.
