Sandellsandberg has in a collaboration with Tyréns Skellefteå received an Honorable mention in the open competition for the new Skellefteå Cultural House. The proposal ‘Soltrappan’ envisions a composition of rounded timber volumes overlooking the plaza, and stretching towards the sky, while a continuation of the pavement creates a wide sun-stair inviting the public up on top of the roof.
